Hello, I’m Amy Taylor North—a small business owner, the mother of two amazing boys (Go, West!), a 20-year homeowner in Lewisville/Clemmons, an active community member, and proud to be our NC STATE HOUSE candidate for West Forsyth County/District 74 (Lewisville, Clemmons, Pfafftown, Tobaccoville, Bethania, and a portion of Winston-Salem).

Anyone who knows me would agree—I’m dedicated to my family and community, and am a bold, energetic, creative spitfire. With the help of hundreds of neighbors, our campaign made history by winning a record-breaking 80% of the March 2024 primary vote. In November, we came within 2 points of WINNING!

The most important thing I can do for my community is to unseat the divisive extremist who is currently in office. Jeff Zenger, MUST GO! In 2023, he took $2M of our tax dollars and lined his own pockets. He’s not representing us—-he continues to put Raleigh above our community. Zenger defunded our public schools, inserts partisanship at every opportunity, and wants to strip women of freedom.

I will stand up for our local economy and small businesses, safety, public schools, and fundamental FREEDOM for all, including reproductive and healthcare rights.

Winning House seat 74 in November 2026 will level the playing field and break the Raleigh supermajority. When there are 60 representatives on both sides of the aisle, the work of helping all North Carolinians can truly begin. I hope you'll choose to be involved.
