Amy Taylor North
Amy Taylor North is a go-giver! She’s a proud mom to two young men, a small business owner, a caregiver to her mother, and has been a community volunteer and homeowner in her district for over 20 years. She was senior managing editor of a national health care magazine for over a decade, served as congressional campaign director in 2018.
Taylor North ran for the North Carolina House of Representatives to represent District 74 in 2024, winning 80% of the primary vote and almost 49% of the general vote.
She is an advocate for public schools, the local economy/small businesses, equity issues, local art/artists, and defending democracy. Taylor North serves with Community for Public Schools, West Forsyth High School PTSA, the Lewisville-Clemmons Chamber of Commerce, Dress for Success, LEAD Girls NC, REACH Women’s Network, nonpartisan Women of Action, and the Lewisville Historic Society/Historic Nissen House.
