Hi! My name is Amy Taylor North. So glad you’re here!

I’m the daughter of a union pipe fitter and the mom of two young men (Go, West!) and Sunshine, our rescue dog. As a small business owner, homeowner, caregiver for my mother, and community volunteer, I’ve called Lewisville/Clemmons home for 20 years. In 2008, I created a national healthcare magazine, and continue to stand up for public schools, our local arts, equity, and our local economy.

Our family didn’t have much, but my parents were rich in spirit and service to community. Representing my community in the House is an extension of a lifetime of service.

Serving others is at the core of who I am. Dad and I walked our neighborhood Community Watch routes, and Mom led my Campfire troop. I was raised in the church and on Sundays, Dad and I visited senior congregation members between services. While he fixed their sinks or mowed their lawns, I had the best job–-long, Southern afternoon visits with elders where I learned the importance of listening.

Representing my community in the House is an extension of a lifetime of service. PEOPLE, not politics.

North Carolina is the most beautiful place to live, work, and raise a family. And while things are rough right now, folks here understand the importance of looking out for their neighbors. Now, I’m doubling down to help build a safer, better West Forsyth County.

With your help we can DO.MORE.GOOD. locally and throughout North Carolina!
