Hi! My name is Amy Taylor North. So glad you’re here.
I’m the mom of two young men (Go, West!), a small business owner, a caregiver for my mother, and have been a community volunteer and homeowner in Lewisville/Clemmons for over 20 years. In 2008, I created a national healthcare magazine, and remain passionate about public schools, women’s equity issues, local art/music/performing arts…and my rescue dog, Sunshine!
Our family didn’t have much, but my parents were rich in spirit and service to community.
I learned about serving others at a young age. My parents, my younger brother and I went to church every week, and visited senior congregation members afterwards. While Dad fixed their sinks or mowed their lawns, my job was the best–-I sat a spell with them for a good-long, Southern Sunday visit.
North Carolina is the most beautiful place to live, work, and raise a family. And while things are rough right now, folks here understand the importance of looking out for their neighbors. Now, I’m doubling down to help build a safer, better West Forsyth County.
With your help we can DO. MORE. GOOD. locally and throughout North Carolina!
